
On Tuesday, February 17, in Irpen near Kyiv, they will bid farewell to 28-year-old Ukrainian soldier, two-time world champion in kickboxing among juniors Mykola Litovchenko, who died on February 5 while performing a combat mission in the Lyman direction in the Donetsk region, the Sports Committee of Ukraine reports. Earlier, the occupiers killed world kickboxing champion Mykola Holovatyuk.

The full-scale invasion of Russian troops forced Litovchenko and his family to leave their native Luhansk region and move to Irpin. Mykola has been involved in martial arts since his youth, and at the age of 16 he won two gold medals at the WPKA World Junior Kickboxing Championship in Athens and received the title of Master of Sports.
A native of Severodonetsk, Mykola Lytovchenko joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2025, where he served as an operator of the Vampire attack UAV in the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhansk Brigade as part of the airborne assault troops.

The deceased hero is survived by his wife, parents, and younger brother.
