The titled former volleyball player of the Ukrainian national team, Oleg Plotnytskyi, who stopped playing for the national team last year, won another trophy in the ranks of the Italian Perugia, winning the Club World Championship.

In the final match of the tournament in the Brazilian city of Belém, the Ukrainian team, as the current Champions League winners, defeated the Japanese club Osaka Bluethon 3:0 (25:20, 25:21, 29:27) and won the trophy for the third time. Plotnytskyi scored 6 points in the final.
