Ukrainian national team player Ilya Zabarny, who was supported by his spectacular mother-in-law at the Champions League match, won his second trophy as part of PSG — the French Super Cup.

In the decisive match of the tournament with Marseille at the Jaber Al Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait, which the defender played in reserve, the Champions League winner escaped defeat only in the compensated minutes of regular time – 2:2 (Dembele, 13, Gonzalo Ramoash, 90+5 – Greenwood, 76, from the penalty spot, Pacho, 87, into his own goal), and in the penalty shootout, thanks to two saves by goalkeeper Luca Chevalier, they defeated the wards of former Shakhtar coach Roberto De Zerbi – 4:1. PSG won the trophy for the fourth year in a row and became the 14th winner of the French Super Cup.
Let us recall that three weeks ago, Ilya Zabarny won the Intercontinental Cup with Luis Enrique's team. However, in the final against the Brazilian Flamengo (1:1; on penalties — 2:1), the Ukrainian was also on the bench.
