
On Sunday, May 24, after Dynamo's victory in the final of the Ukrainian Cup, the last, 30th, round of the UPL ended with parallel matches in Kyiv (two), Zhytomyr, and Rivne.

The three winners were Shakhtar, LNZ and Polissya, who, together with Dynamo, which took only 4th place for the first time since 2014, will represent Ukraine in European competitions. Donetsk – immediately in the group round of the Champions League, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr – in the Conference League qualifiers, and Kyiv – in the Europa League qualifiers.
Poltava and Oleksandria were relegated from the UPL, while Kudrivka and Rukh will have to play against the fourth and third teams in the first league in playoff matches for places in the Premier League. Although there seem to be options here (there are rumors about Rukh being removed from the championship).
The top scorer of the national championship was Dynamo forward Matviy Ponomarenko with 13 goals.
