VIDEO OF THE DAY
During the UFC 328 tournament at the Prudential Center arena in Newark, USA, the Irpin native in the welterweight limit (up to 77.1 kg), having won the first round according to the judges' notes, threw his opponent to the floor of the octagon in the second and “finished” him off with a suffocating technique.
Amosov's brilliant performance impressed the organizers, and UFC President Dana White awarded Yaroslav a bonus of $100,000 for his brilliant victory.
By the way, after his second consecutive success in the UFC, the Ukrainian fighter made a bold statement.

“It was a very good fight, but I know I can move even better,” said Yaroslav Amosov . “I love wrestling, but I’m an MMA fighter — I can punch, I can grapple, I can do everything. Modern mixed martial arts is a sport of universal fighters.
UFC, give me someone in the top 10. Maybe that makes sense. There's a big fight today – Buckley vs. Brady. Maybe I'll fight the winner.”
Recall that four-time world champion in combat sambo Amosov, who defended his native land with weapons in his hands after the Russian invasion, returned to the ring after a career break in March 2025, when he “strangled” American Curtis Millender in the first round at the Cage Fury Fighting Championships 140 tournament in Philadelphia.
