“Emma and Ella, 3/30/2026,” Petra wrote in a short message from the maternity hospital, accompanying it with a photo of the adorable baby feet.

Before Petra gave birth, she bought two pink strollers.

While Petra already has three children, her 12-year-old husband (and former coach) Jiri Vanek has five. He also has sons Matias and Adam from his first marriage.

By the way, twins in the families of famous tennis players are not that uncommon. It is enough to recall that two children were born in the families of Ivan Lendl, Roger Federer, Hana Manlikova, Pam Shriver, Pat Cash, Albert Costa, Gigi Fernandez, Nenad Zimonjic, Yaroslava Shvedova and Anna Kournikova.

As for former world number two Petra Kvitova, who almost died after being attacked by a robber in 2016, she married her coach in the summer of 2023.

The famous Czech, in addition to two Wimbledon titles in 2011 and 2014, won a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, won the Fed Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup six times, and also won 31 WTA titles and earned $37 million on the courts.
