Tottenham have reached an agreement with Brentford to appoint Thomas Frank as head coach, according to PA news agency.
Spurs were quick to target Frank after sacking Ange Postecoglou last week – just 16 days after his successful Europa League performance – and they made formal contact with Brentford on Monday.
Discussions between Tottenham and Brentford initially centred on the terms of Frank's contract with the west London club, which runs until the summer of 2027 and includes a release clause worth around £10m.
Further negotiations were needed over which Tottenham staff Frank would take with him but after several days of discussions an agreement was reached with Brentford on Thursday.
Highly regarded Brentford first team coach Justin Cochrane will follow Frank to Tottenham and, in the process, return to the club where he began his coaching career.
Cochrane, originally from London, has worked with Frank since 2022, after he first served as youth coach at Tottenham before moving to Manchester United.
