8.40 Yarmouth – Rathgar, Claymore and Epictetus Race. Special theme of the racing league.
The highlight of the opening day of the Racing League at Yarmouth will be a race involving the best of the 13 runners – Rathgar and Claymore .
Rathgar is just one pound heavier than last year when he won the trophy and Jack Channon's five-year-old son looks set to challenge for a place in London and the South.
Jamie and Saffie Osborne team up with weight leader Epictetus . Having found success in Group Third company under John and Teddy Gosden, he has produced excellent results, finishing fifth at Newbury on his debut for the yard, and is well respected over the distance.

3.45 Doncaster – Stem and The Cursor competition for strong beginners
Stem leads a small but select field of runners in the Darley EBF Novice Stakes at Doncaster, with the winner receiving a free entry to the St Leger.
The Richard Hannon-trained Stem impressed when he rode the Newbury novice on heavy ground in September and all eyes will be on the promising colt when he takes on the mile and a half for Shawn Levy.
