London and the South begin the second week of the Racing League with a slight advantage over Scotland at the top of the table.

7.15 Wolverhampton Wanderers v Al Shabab Storm & Willem Twee Competition

The main race of the 11th Grade 2 League Handicap starts at 19:15, with Al Shabab Storm and Willem Twi leading the way.

Al Shabab Storm (Yorkshire), ridden by Marco Botti, will top the weight class with Jack Nicholls picking up 7lb. The Group 3 winner, rated 109, made a successful debut on Pitcher's Mountain, finishing third over seven furlongs in March. He then produced a less impressive performance at Doncaster and now has something to prove with his rating down.

Willem Twee (East) has a strong all-weather record, winning three times including this race last year. He most recently finished third at Newcastle in May and is certainly one to watch, starting at 103.

Change Sings has scored four of the seven points over the all-weather course and is certainly a promising candidate for Eve Johnson Houghton and Richard Kingscote. After two successive third places, Barbapapa also deserves a mention as Henry de Bromhead brings a rare runner into the field over the flat distance, while Kieran O'Neill has been given a warning.

8.15 Wolverhampton – Stable pairing clashes Mr Sivell and Hickory

Mr Sivell and Hickory will battle it out in a tight 13th Racing League Handicap.

Jamie Osborne's Hickory are the reigning Welsh and Western Champions and are in need of valuable points after a disappointing opening week at Yarmouth. The seven-year-old showed he still has all the potential he needs when finishing third in the prestigious International Stakes at Ascot on Saturday and looks set to go close again.
