“The last few months have been very emotional and marked by deep grief for my family and me. The sudden loss of my brother painfully showed me how precious time is and how important it is to spend it with the people closest to me. After all these years, I realized that it was time to return home – also because my father's health is poor, and I want to spend time with him. Time that cannot be returned,” explained Kevin Kampl , who will return to his native German city of Solingen with his wife and children.
Recall that central midfielder Kevin Kampl played for Bayer Leverkusen, Salzburg (champion and Austrian Cup winner), Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig, with whom he won the German Cup twice (2022, 2022), the Super Cup of the country (2023), and also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in eight and a half years of performance.
