Former Dynamo Kyiv football player, and now a player for Brazilian Curitiba, Uruguayan Carlos de Pena, who left Ukraine after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, became a father of many children.

The 33-year-old midfielder, who, together with his wife Eli, also raises his son Juan Cruz and daughter Paz Maria, announced the birth of his daughter Trinidad Maria on the social network Instagram.
“Welcome, Trinidad Maria! 01/16/2026,” the footballer wrote. “We imagined you would be born in a hospital, surrounded by doctors and nurses. But you appeared in our home, among the family, naturally. It was not as we planned, but, undoubtedly, incredible. A true gift from God. With painful efforts and without anesthesia, your mother did the impossible in a matter of minutes.”

Recall that wing midfielder Carlos de Pena played for Dynamo from 2019 to 2022, scoring 19 goals and providing 19 assists in 102 matches. Together with the “white-blue”, the Uruguayan won the Ukrainian championship, two national cups and two national super cups.
