Sigerson Cup: All you need to know as the action gets underway

The 2025 Sigerson Cup gets underway this week, as the next generation of players compete for the ultimate prize in college football.

In what will be the last competition under the current rules, the Sigerson Cup has always been an exciting curtain raiser for the season ahead.

Ulster University will go into the competition with the likes of Tyrone’s Ruairí Canavan and Eoin McElholm, Down’s Odhran Mudrock, and Derry’s Eoin McEvoy.
