Shelbourne lost 3-0 to Qarabag in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the Champions League.

Goals for Karabakh were scored by Leandro Andrade, Alexey Kashchuk and Nariman Akhundzade.

These teams will meet again on July 30.

Karabakh opened the scoring in the 12th minute thanks to a goal from Leandro Andrade.

The team from the Azerbaijan Premier League had to wait for the next goal until the 81st minute, when Aleksey Kashchuk scored the second goal.

Four minutes later, Nariman Akhundzade extended the lead, securing a confident victory over Shelbourne.

In upcoming events, the reigning Premier Division champions face Sligo Rovers in the league on August 2.
