The sacrament of baptism took place in the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Pirogoshcha, a Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Podil, Ukraine. Daria shared cute photos on Instagram.

“Such a bright day of baptism is the beginning of a great journey under God's protection,” the goalkeeper's wife wrote.

Daryna Riznyk also thanked the girl's godparents, among whom was the wife of former Shakhtar and Ukrainian national team player Ivan Petryak, Yulia.
