Saturday Briefing: Isak eyeing Liverpool, Son preparing to leave Tottenham

Alexander Isak's future has once again become a hot topic with Liverpool reportedly stepping up their interest in the Newcastle striker on Friday.

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min has signalled his intention to leave the club, while Spurs are close to a loan deal for Bayern Munich's Joao Palinha and Everton are keen to sign Southampton teenager Tyler Dibling.

Isak's application was rejected

Newcastle have reportedly rejected Liverpool's bid for striker Alexander Isak.

The 25-year-old Sweden striker has been training with his former club Real Sociedad this week amid rumours he has asked Newcastle to consider a move.

He has been heavily linked with Liverpool, who reportedly made a bid for the player, but Newcastle rejected it. Isak has three years left on his Newcastle contract.

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min has announced that he will leave the club this summer.
