Roman Kemp will host a new Friday Premier League show on Sky Sports News this season as Sky prepares for an innovative new partnership with the Premier League.
The 2025/26 Premier League season gets underway on Friday 15 August and Sky Sports is bringing fans more live football than ever before – a record 215 matches, with 80 per cent of all coverage shown exclusively live on Sky under a landmark new rights deal.
To support this significant growth in football coverage and storytelling, Sky Sports News is launching a brand new daily programme: The Premier League Show, which will air Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm as part of a number of new content avenues on the channel.

The show will become a favourite with football fans, combining breaking news, in-depth reporting and expert analysis to provide daily coverage of all things Premier League.
As part of an exciting new deal with Sky Sports, presenter Kemp will host a special Premier League Friday programme, which will act as a guide to a weekend of football on Sky. Presenting live from the studio each week, Roman will bring his unique energy and passion for football to the programme, as well as offering a fresh, original take on Sky Sports News stories.
Sky Sports News has kicked off an exciting new season with the launch of several new shows and the return of one or two old favourites.
Kemp said: “Football means more to me than anything else in the world. To be part of a show like this, dedicated to the biggest matches in world football, is a real privilege. I can't wait to get started and, as a fan, I want to give it my all.”
There will be a single presenter from Monday to Thursday, with Julian Warren and Emma Paton taking turns in the role. Each episode will also feature a dedicated reporter and expert who will cover the biggest Premier League stories of the day.

Roman will host the first show of the new season on Friday 15 August across Sky Sports News, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event, in preparation for the Premier League's opening weekend, which begins this evening with Liverpool v Bournemouth.
The match will be broadcast at 18:30 on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.
