Titled runner from the Netherlands, Olympic champion and 6-time world champion in the 400 meters and 400 meters hurdles, 26-year-old Femke Bol married 30-year-old Belgian pole vaulter, European youth champion Ben Broders, reports Telegraaf. Earlier, Ukrainian beauty-jumper Yulia Levchenko became the wife of a famous athlete.

The wedding took place on February 21 in the bride's hometown of Amersfoort, but the couple only shared photos from the festivities now.
“Love for you has always been like love for home for me, and our wedding officially confirmed it,” Femke wrote under the romantic photos on Instagram.

Brothers and Bol met in 2020 after the Diamond League stage in Stockholm, when they met by chance at the airport. “She was just a nice, sweet girl I saw at the airport. I didn’t know her and she didn’t know me,” Ben recalled. “A few weeks later we met again in Rome. We exchanged a few phrases about the competition. But we started to keep in touch, and eventually we met in 's-Hertogenbosch. And it seems that a spark really ignited between us.” In July 2025, the athletes announced their engagement.
