Celebrations continue in Kerry to mark the homecoming of the Irish senior football champions.

They won the All-Ireland final on Sunday 1-26 to 0-19 against Donegal.

The first stop for the homecoming celebrations was Tralee, where events began at 6.15pm, before an open-top bus set off for Killarney at 8.30pm.

Hundreds of ecstatic fans turned out to welcome the Kerry players as they brought the Sam Maguire Cup with them.

The Irish team paraded across the county that evening after winning their 39th All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.

The official return ceremony will take place at Fitzgerald Stadium at 9:00 p.m.
