
London's Chelsea, the club of Ukrainian national team player Mykhailo Mudryk, who failed a doping test, announced on its official website the dismissal of head coach Enzo Maresca.

“Enzo and the club believe that a change of coach will give the team the best chance of getting the season back on track,” the press release said.
The 45-year-old Italian has been in charge of the “aristocrats” since the summer of 2024, winning the Conference League and the Club World Cup with the team. This season, Chelsea is in 5th place in the English Premier League (only one win in the last seven matches) and 13th in the overall Champions League table.
