Italian Serie A club Genoa has officially announced the departure of 33-year-old Ukrainian national team player Ruslan Malinovsky, who has played for Andriy Shevchenko's former team since 2023.

Ruslan, who joined the Genoese club from Marseille, is leaving Genoa after the expiration of his contract. The Ukrainian played 74 matches in all competitions for the Griffins, scoring 10 goals and providing 8 assists.

Ruslan Malinovsky's next club will be the bronze medalist of the Turkish championship, Trabzonspor, in which the football player will reunite with two more Ukrainians – Arseny Batagov and Oleksandr Zubkov.

At the same time, Malinovsky will go to Turkey alone, without his wife and children, where he will have a 3-year contract with a salary of 1.2 million euros per year.
