Bayern Munich have completed a deal to sign Colombian forward Luis Diaz from Liverpool.
The transfer fee, according to PA news agency, is £65m (€75.17m) and was agreed on Sunday after the Bundesliga champions came back with an offer close to what the Anfield club believe is the 28-year-old's market value.
Diaz was given permission to leave the Premier League champions and flew from Tokyo, where the team is preparing for Wednesday's match against Yokohama F. Marinos, to Germany on Monday.
The player had been pushing for a transfer since last summer and after two failed attempts to agree an extension to the remaining two years of his contract, Liverpool reluctantly accepted that his departure had become inevitable.
The arrival of Hugo Ekitiike last week means the Reds have already bolstered their attacking options and remain interested in Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.
