The famous forward, who works on television (for $ 1 million a year!), was present at the filming of the Match of the Day program. While working on one of the scenes with the BBC film crew, Wayne asked to put the earphone in his right ear, not in his left.
“Can I put it in the other ear? The problem is that I'm deaf in my left ear. So when it gets too loud, I can barely hear what Kelly Cates (host of Match of the Day. — Author ) or anyone else is saying,” Rooney explained.
