Northern Ireland have won the World Cup of Darts for the first time, beating two-time champions Wales in a tense shootout final in Frankfurt.
Fourth seeds Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney burst into tears of joy after rallying to make history with a 10-9 win over Johnny Clayton and Gerwyn Price.
Trailing 7-5, the winning pair managed to fight back to take a 9-7 lead, but missed four match darts at 9-8, which gave Clayton and Price, the 2020 and 2023 champions, the opportunity to reach the decider.
Rock and Gurney, who started the final on serve, regained their composure and took the title before dropping to their knees in an emotional embrace.
