“CAS confirms that it has received an appeal from Mykhailo Mudryk against the FA, filed on February 25, 2026. The parties are exchanging written submissions and a hearing has not yet been scheduled,” the statement said.
As is known, in December 2024, the Ukrainian footballer tested positive for the banned drug meldonium. Having joined Chelsea from Shakhtar for a whopping 100 million euros (although the Donetsk club is unlikely to receive 30 million of this amount in bonuses), Mudryk managed to play 73 matches for the London club, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists.

The last time the Ukrainian took the field in an official match was at the end of November 2024 in the Conference League group round match against Heidenheim. Then, Mudryk's goal helped his team win 2:0.
Previously, “FACTS” reported that Mykhailo Mudryk was involved in a new scandal in the United Kingdom.
