GAA: Trophies are up for grabs in league finals

The first trophy of the year will be contested at Croke Park this weekend: the National League Final.

After a tense final day in the First Division, Mayo and Kerry meet in a key match.

Although relegation was in danger last weekend, wins over Donegal and Galway have set the team up for the final this Sunday.

When the two teams met in the fifth round, Mayo emerged victorious in Castlebar and neither team was defeated in the subsequent matches.

The teams last met in the league final in 2022, with Kerry emerging victorious.

In Division Two, Monaghan and Roscommon have both been promoted at the first attempt and will be looking to build on their trophy haul to win the title.

Offaly surprised everyone in Division Three by finishing second and earning promotion alongside Leinster side Kildare.

After a surprise relegation last season, Kildare were promoted to the top flight at the first attempt.

The only unbeaten team, Wexford, will face Limerick in the Fourth Division final.
