Legendary Norwegian skier, 4-time Olympic champion and 14-time world champion, 37-year-old Teresa Johaug, who recently witnessed a shooting in a shopping mall, has become a mother for the second time, reports nrk.no. The athlete gave birth to a son the day before, the boy was named Nils.

VIDEO OF THE DAY

Interestingly, just before giving birth, Teresa, who announced her pregnancy in July, thanked the organizers and guests of the sports awards ceremony via video link from the maternity ward. And soon after, the hosts of the evening announced live that Jogaug had given birth to a baby.

“Days like this don't happen often. A young mother and an honorary award at a sports gala on the same day. Thank you very much to everyone who came to my aid when I needed it. I will remember this day forever,” Teresa Johaug wrote on Instagram, accompanying the post with a photo of her son and husband Nils Jakob Hoff (by the way, a world champion in rowing).

Recall that in May 2023, the couple had a daughter, Christine.

By the way, Theresa Johaug could have become an even more titled athlete, but she missed the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang because of… lip balm containing a banned substance. Then the Norwegians issued an 18-month suspension and left her without the Olympics.
