Talented striker Gotsiridze moved to Ukraine in early 2009, moving from Georgian “Zestafoni” to “Dnipro” (according to unofficial information, for 1 million euros). However, in the Dnipro team, the forward played mainly for the reserve team, having played only 3 matches for the first team in the UPL. In the 2010/2011 season, he played on loan at “Kryvbas”, but could not establish himself in the “base” and played only 5 matches in the Ukrainian championship. Beka Gotsiridze, who ended his career in 2017, played 11 matches for the Georgian national team, scoring 1 goal.

It should be added that Gotsiridze's career at Dnipro was seriously damaged after a serious car accident that occurred on June 14, 2009 near Tbilisi. The footballer underwent a complex operation to remove his spleen. Within six months, Beka resumed training with the reserve team, but was unable to return to his previous level.

Previously, “FACTS” reported that former Ukrainian national football team player Bohdan Shershun died at the age of 42.
