
On Friday, February 27, the Europa League play-off pairs were determined at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, following the Champions League draw.

The teams that made it directly to the round of 16 — Roman Yaremchuk's Lyon and former Shakhtar coach Paulo Fonseca, Aston Villa, Midtjylland, Betis, Porto, Braga, Freiburg and Artem Dovbyk's Roma — were joined by the 8 winners of the play-offs — Panathinaikos, Ferencváros, Lille, Stuttgart, Bologna, Genk, Nottingham Forest and Celta.

We would like to add that the Europa League round of 16 matches will be played on March 12 and 19, the quarterfinals on April 9 and 16, the semifinals on April 30 and May 7, and the final will be held on May 20 at the Besiktas Stadium in Istanbul.
