Bournemouth striker Evanilson will be fit to play in Saturday's Premier League clash with Arsenal after his three-match ban was overturned following his red card against Manchester United.
The Brazilian was sent off in the 70th minute of Sunday's 1-1 draw with United at the Vitality Stadium after fouling Noussair Mazraoui.
His suspension was overturned following a successful lawsuit by the Cherries for wrongful termination.
As well as the visit of the Gunners this weekend, Bournemouth's record signing was set to miss the home game against Aston Villa and the trip to Manchester City.
“The Independent Regulatory Commission has lifted Evanilson's three-match ban following a successful appeal,” the Football Association said in a statement.
“The AFC Bournemouth striker was sent off during the Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday, April 27, for foul trouble.”
Evanilson, who signed for Porto for £31.7m last summer, was initially shown a yellow card by referee Peter Banks for a foul on Mazraoui.
However, after VAR John Brooks used the penalty was upped to a red when Banks reviewed the incident on the pitchside screen.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola and captain Adam Smith were shown yellow cards for protesting and home fans expressed their displeasure.
At a post-match press conference, Iraola criticised the decision, noting that Evanilson had been under pressure when asked to review the VAR process.
The sending off proved costly for Bournemouth as United striker Rasmus Hjylund equalised in the sixth minute of added time to cancel out Antoine Semenyo's first-half goal from Evanilson.
With four games left in the season, the south coast club sit 10th in the table, one point behind Fullerton
