Legendary golfer Tiger Woods, who is having an affair with Donald Trump's ex-sister-in-law, has once again found himself at the center of a high-profile incident. The 50-year-old American billionaire athlete was involved in a car accident near his home on Jupiter Island (Florida), BBC Sport reports.

According to police, Woods' Range Rover attempted to overtake a truck “at high speed” after 2 p.m. local time, hitting a trailer, causing the car to swerve and flip onto its side. Despite the severity of the accident, the athlete, who showed signs of intoxication, was not visibly injured and is in stable condition.

According to the sheriff, Woods took a breathalyzer test at the scene, which came back negative, but refused to provide a urine sample (there is suspicion that Tiger may have been driving under the influence of medication or drugs). The golfer, who has undergone seven back surgeries, then spent 8 hours in the county jail and was released on bail.
“It looks like they have no basis to charge, no DUI case. Period,” Woods' attorney Robert Riff said.
Avid golf fan Donald Trump also reacted to the incident. “I feel very sorry for him. He had problems. There was an accident. That's all I know. He's a very close friend of mine. He's an amazing person — an amazing man,” the US president said.
