President Donald Trump communicated Tuesday afternoon that he will be calling off strategies to convene a session of his Cabinet at the Camp David presidential residence and instead conduct it at the White House, owing to the anticipated adverse weather conditions on Wednesday.

"Considering the potential for inclement weather conditions tomorrow, our Cabinet Meeting will take place in the White House, and the Cabinet excursion to Camp David will be postponed," Trump announced on his social media platform.

The National Weather Service is predicting thunderstorms in the area for Wednesday.

As per a White House source, every Cabinet member was anticipated to be present, and the session was intended to "emphasize current achievements of the administration including economic and small business successes, Task Force to Eliminate Fraud spotlights, and updates on foreign policy."

The arrangements to journey to the presidential retreat were initially made public by the New York Post.

The voyage would have signified Trump's initial return to Camp David in approximately a year.

Trump had previously visited the retreat in Catoctin Mountain Park in Frederick County, Maryland, last June in what the White House depicted at the time as "a routine off campus gathering of principals attended by the President and Vice President."

The choice to convene a formal Cabinet meeting at Camp David signified a deviation from standard procedure, although it is not unprecedented for Trump, who also conducted a Cabinet session there in September 2017 during his initial term, which was not accessible to the press.
