A stabbing in the northern Israeli city of Haifa has left a man in his 60s dead and four others injured, police said.
Israeli authorities said the attacker was killed in the incident on Monday.
Police are treating the stabbing at a central transit hub as an act of terrorism.
The attacker, according to police, was shot by a security guard and a civilian; he was an Arab, an Israeli citizen who had recently returned home after a stay abroad.
The attack comes amid rising regional tensions over the Gaza ceasefire.
Hamas militants praised the attack but did not claim responsibility.
