Citizens are proceeding to cast their ballots in the initial elections held in Nevada, with considerable attention focused on the contest for governor. Additionally, contests for House positions, the state’s chief legal officer, and the second-highest executive office, among others, are underway.
Regarding the gubernatorial contest, incumbent Republican Governor Joe Lombardo is seeking another term. On the Democratic front, the state’s Attorney General, Aaron Ford, is contending with Alexis Hill, the head of the Washoe County Commission, and additional candidates for the position.
