The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported in the first reading draft law No. 13335, which allows critical enterprises to book people who have improperly executed registration documents for 45 days. As reported by People's Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko, the initiative was supported by 283 people's deputies.
It is proposed to amend the legislation, according to which military-liable employees of enterprises, institutions and organizations that are determined to be critically important for the functioning of the economy during a special period, in the field of the defense-industrial complex, who do not have or have improperly issued a military registration document, or/and are not on military registration, or/and have not specified personal data, may be reserved from mobilization, but for no more than 45 days.
Such armor for a specific person is provided no more than once per calendar year.
At the same time, the employer may dismiss an employee if he is subject to military service and has not provided his military registration documents during the probationary period upon hiring.
As Honcharenko noted, parliamentarians also decided to shorten the deadline for submitting amendments to prepare the bill for the second reading.
As a reminder, in August, the Cabinet of Ministers expanded the rules for reserving conscripts, allowing critical enterprises in frontline regions to reserve up to 100% of their personnel “to preserve the personnel potential and continuous operation of enterprises that ensure the defense and vital activity of regions located in combat zones.”
