“Questions” are being distributed on the Internet, where Ukrainians are allegedly forced to answer questions about Stepan Bandera and the Volyn tragedy in order to obtain a PESEL number in Poland.

In fact, there are no such items in the statements. As Vasyl Bodnar, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, told the Center for Strategic Communications, this is a fake form, and there are no political or ideological questions in the official forms.

“The purpose of such a fake is to influence public sentiment and disorient citizens. Official forms and procedures are available only on state portals and authorized institutions in Poland. Do not use questionable documents or links from the Internet,” the diplomat emphasized.

Fake “surveys” are being spread by anonymous resources to sow hatred between Ukrainians and Poles. This is another information attack aimed at inflaming historical conflicts, the center's analysts emphasize.

Earlier, Polish President Karol Nawrocki announced that he had not signed the law on aid to Ukrainians. He stated that he seeks to introduce a provision into the legislation on “stopping Banderism” and equate its symbolism with Nazism.
