Chilean officials say they have handed over six expensive timepieces stolen from Canadian actor Keanu Reeves to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, months after the items were seized in a police operation.
Among the items seized was an exclusive engraved Rolex model, whose estimated value exceeds $9,500.
The FBI is working to return property to Reeves, famous for cult films like The Matrix and John Wick.
According to Chilean prosecutors, the actor confirmed that the stolen watch belonged to his property, which was damaged during high-profile robberies in Los Angeles in December 2023.
The announcement comes as Kristi Noem, the Trump administration's Homeland Security Secretary, is visiting Chile for talks with local officials, including on combating transnational crime.
Noem herself was previously the victim of a theft: in April last year, her bag was stolen from a restaurant in Washington. The suspect is a Chilean citizen who was illegally in the United States.
Marcelo Varas, an officer with the Chilean theft investigation unit, said the combined value of Reeves' six timepieces was worth $125,000 (about £93,550).
The luxury items stolen from the actor's Hollywood mansion were found in Santiago during police raids that also seized stolen cars, Apple gadgets and designer accessories.
The law enforcement action is in sync with another FBI investigation into a series of break-ins by South American crime groups that have targeted luxury homes in the United States, including those of celebrities and athletes such as Kansas City Chiefs football player Travis Kelce.
In April, Chilean police reported arresting 23 people as part of an investigation into the criminal activity.
Varas said investigators are continuing to look into possible connections between the theft of Reeves' watch and other high-profile thefts.
