For the cover of the March 18, 2024, issue, the artist and animator Peter de Sève illustrated the way we now experience seasons: all at once. But not everyone is upset about winters that seem to melt as quickly as they arrive. “I’ve been ready for spring since the end of January,” de Sève said. “It can’t come soon enough for me.”
