In the final match, the 23-year-old from Kyiv defeated the top seed of the aggressor country, 19-year-old Mirra Andreeva (8th) — 6:3, 7:5, extending her record winning streak to 12 (!) matches. Recall that Kostyuk had already defeated the native of Krasnoyarsk this year at a tournament in Brisbane, Australia (7:6, 6:3).

By the way, Marta Kostyuk played in the finals of WTA tournaments for the sixth time and won the trophy for the third time. She previously won the title in Austin, USA, in 2023 and Rouen, France, in 2026.

Winning the most prestigious tournament of her career brought Marta 1 million 7 thousand euros in prize money and 1000 rating points, which will allow her to start the new week in a record 15th place in the world rankings.
