According to him, the KAAN project brings together 750 different companies.

TUSAŞ Director General called the past, current and next years very successful for Turkey's aviation industry.

This year we will deliver 22 Hürkuş aircraft to our armed forces. Our Gökbey (helicopter – ed.) deliveries will continue to increase every month. We plan the first flight of the Hürjet (trainer jet – ed.) Block-0 configuration in May-June. We aim to deliver a total of four Hürjet aircraft this year.

He also recalled that last year, agreements were signed for the supply of KAAN to Indonesia for about $15 billion, the export of Hürjet to Spain, and the serial production of a total of 83 Gökbey helicopters.
