How to uninstall update KB5074109
If your computer or laptop has started to behave unstably, it is quite possible that KB5074109 is the cause.
This problem can be solved very simply – by removing the update in a few seconds, writes Digital Trends.
To do this, go to “Settings” > “Windows Update” > “Update History” > and uninstall the update.
Many Windows 11 users recently started noticing that after installing the update, the application started to freeze, stop closing, or endlessly reload the message.
Moreover, as it turned out, short-term black screens constantly appeared.
Users also complained online about incorrect operation of sleep mode and the shutdown/on function, resetting desktop settings, and malfunctioning File Explorer.
What's important to understand is that this happened so often that Microsoft simply publicly called for the update to be removed, rather than looking for other options to solve the problem.
However, Microsoft warns that this action has a side effect: removing the patch deprives the system of more than 100 security fixes included in the January release.
