On Friday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed that she is expecting her second child.
"The most wonderful Christmas present we could ever wish for – a baby girl arriving in May 2026," Leavitt shared in an Instagram post.
"My husband and I are overjoyed to expand our family and eagerly anticipate watching our son take on the role of big brother. I am filled with gratitude to God for the gift of motherhood, which I genuinely feel is the nearest experience to Heaven on Earth," she expressed.

"I am also incredibly thankful to President Trump and our Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for their backing, and for creating a pro-family atmosphere in the White House. 2026 is set to be an amazing year and I am so thrilled to be a girl mom!" Leavitt continued in her social media update.
At 28 years old, Leavitt is the youngest individual to hold the position of White House press secretary. She has previously worked in the press office during President Donald Trump's initial term and also acted as the press secretary for his 2024 campaign.
In 2022, Leavitt made an unsuccessful attempt to secure a congressional seat in New Hampshire, her home state.
She and her spouse, Nicholas Riccio, welcomed their first child, Nicholas "Niko" Robert Riccio, in 2024.
