We remind you that the Ukrainian national team also has a chance to go to the world championship, having learned about the results of the draw of potential opponents in the group. In order to be in the company of the tournament finalists, Serhiy Rebrov's team still needs to win nominally home play-off matches (on March 26 at the Estadio Ciutat de Valencia in Valencia in the semi-final against Sweden and on March 31 there in the final against the winner of the Poland-Albania match).

As is known, the matches of the final tournament of the 2026 World Cup will be hosted by 11 US cities (Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle), three Mexican cities (Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey) and two Canadian cities (Toronto, Vancouver). The World Cup final will be held in New York on July 19.

Previously, “FACTS” reported that the Ukrainian national team defeated Iceland and made it to the 2026 World Cup qualifying play-offs.
