Legendary American racing driver and two-time NASCAR champion Kyle Busch has died suddenly at the age of 41, just hours after being hospitalized due to a serious illness, NASCAR announced on social media. The cause of death of the Richard Childress Racing driver has not yet been revealed. Previously, the famous NASCAR champion driver died in a plane crash with his wife and two children.

Kyle Busch was considered one of the most successful and famous drivers in NASCAR history. Over a career spanning more than 20 years, the American won the series' main championship twice – in 2015 and 2019 – and also set a record for the number of victories in NASCAR's three national divisions – 234. He won 63 Cup Series victories. In 2023, he was included in the symbolic list of the 75 greatest drivers in the history of the association.

By the way, just a week ago, on May 15, Kyle Busch won the NASCAR Truck Series in Dover, and was scheduled to compete in the Coca-Cola 600 the following weekend.

When Bush, nicknamed “Rowdy” for his aggressive driving style, was asked last Friday after another success why victories still matter to him, he simply replied: “Because you never know when the last one will be.”
