Military personnel and veterans have joined the CYBERWAR CUP cyber tournament. There, team members compete in amateur Counter-Strike matches.

“Our team was formed very recently, so we haven't even had time to come up with a name for it yet. At the same time, the idea of creating a cyber team has been brewing for a long time,” the coordinator of the M13 cyber team, war veteran Oleksandr “Teren” Budko, told FAKTAM.
According to him, among veterans and military personnel there are people who are interested in esports.
“This time we managed to realize this idea and register for amateur competitions for the first time,” says “Teren.”

According to Oleksandr, the team included veterans and active military personnel, including those who were injured.
“Among the participants are people with amputations and injuries who currently cannot engage in active physical sports, but can prove themselves in cybersports. For them, this is an opportunity to remain in team interaction, compete, and realize themselves in a new direction,” says Oleksandr “Teren.”

He also adds that in the future the team plans to join cyber tournaments for other games.
