The famous Colombian singer Shakira, who performed on stage with both of her sons from Gerard Pique, has released a part of the track Dai Dai, which will become the official song of the World Cup.

VIDEO OF THE DAY

The pop star with Lebanese roots lit up the music video on the field of the legendary Maracana arena in Rio de Janeiro.

“Since the day you were born, you've been here, in this place where you belong… what once broke you, made you stronger,” she sings, followed by aerial shots of the Rio arena and the phrase “We're ready.”

The full version of the song, which 49-year-old Shakira performed with 34-year-old Nigerian singer Burna Boy, will be released on May 14 (by the way, the name Dai Dai comes from Italian and translates as “Come on, come on” or “Go ahead”).

It is worth recalling that this is the third time Shakira has recorded a track for the FIFA World Cup. Her previous attempts in 2010 (Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) and 2014 (La La La)) were a resounding success.
