The Ukrainian national football team, who were left without a ticket to the World Cup due to a defeat by the Swedes (1:3), seem to have “come to life” and after a friendly match victory over Albania (1:0) in Valencia, Spain, they unanimously ignored the press representatives in the mixed zone. All the players, despite a request to comment, walked past the journalists and headed for the bus. Only the team's newcomer, Dynamo forward Matviy Ponomarenko, managed to return.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
“The media was given an unpleasant surprise after the game by the players of the Ukrainian national team, none of whom stopped in the mixed zone to give interviews to the media,” Oleksandr Hlyvinsky, the former press secretary of the “yellow-blues”, wrote indignantly on Instagram. “They were all in a hurry to get on the bus to go to the hotel. Only the young debutant Matviy Ponomarenko agreed to return from the bus at the invitation of the UAF press service to give an interview to the journalists present.”
The shameful behavior of the players cannot go unnoticed: the media is doing its job just like the players. And they are waiting in the mixed zone precisely to convey the words of the players to the fans whom the players thanked after the game.”

Maybe our vulnerable millionaires were simply offended by the banner that the ultras hung in the empty section of the stadium in Valencia during the match with the Albanians: “Like the game, like the support”? Are they no longer the ones who just a few days ago “shit up” (in their own words), and are they again the winners?

Previously, “FACTS” reported that the Ukrainian national team was robbed in a Spanish hotel.
