Currently, Ukraine produces three Flamingo missiles per day, but after switching to its own engine, the production rate will increase.
Main theses:
- After switching to its own engine, Ukraine plans to increase production of the Flamingo missile, reaching volumes that meet orders.
- The Flamingo rocket features a dual-circuit turbojet engine, making it more efficient than many competitors.
Ukraine will be able to produce more than 3 Flamingo missiles per day
This was stated by the co-founder and chief designer of the defense company Fire Point, Denis Shtilerman, in an interview with the ProUA YouTube channel.
Currently, Ukraine produces three Flamingo missiles per day — but after switching to its own engine, the production rate will increase in line with orders.

According to him, the missile has a double-circuit turbojet engine. It is twice as efficient as conventional single-circuit engines of cruise missiles — except for the American Tomahawk.
The development of its own engine, optimized for low-altitude flights, is currently being completed.
The range of the Flamingo missile depends on the modification and warhead:
-
“Seven” (FP-7) — up to 300 km
-
“Nine” (FP-9) – up to 850 km.
Stillerman also refuted the version about “rebranded foreign weapons.” According to him, almost all components – drives, engine, antennas, control unit – are Ukrainian. The only exception is the inertial navigation system.
