
On Wednesday, March 4, the second semi-finalist of the Ukrainian Football Cup was determined at the Cherkasy Arena. Following Dynamo Kyiv, the leader of the first league, Bukovyna, made it to the quartet of the tournament's strongest teams for the second year in a row, defeating the local LNZ, a UPL sensation, in a penalty shootout.

Two more quarterfinals of the cup tournament will be played: Metalist 1925 (Kharkiv) – Lokomotiv (Kyiv) – March 5 at 1:00 PM and Chernihiv – Phoenix-Mariupol – March 17 at 12:00 PM.
