It is noted that the cost of the item of clothing by Leerdam became the highest in the entire history of the platform (for example, for the jumpsuit of the Olympic champion in the 500 meters Femke Kok at the same auction, “only” 4,802 euros were paid).
The previous MatchWornShirt record — 63 thousand euros — belonged to Cristiano Ronaldo's shirt, which he wore in the Portugal-Hungary match in 2025.
