
Ukrainian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Danylo Donchenko (14 wins, 2 losses) continued his successful performance in the prestigious UFC league, where another of our compatriots, Yaroslav Amosov, previously made a victorious debut.

On Sunday night, February 8, the 24-year-old native of Korosten, Zhytomyr region, defeated 35-year-old American Alex Morono (24 wins, 13 losses) in the welterweight division (up to 77.1 kg) at the UFC Fight Night 266 tournament in Las Vegas.
During the fight, the Ukrainian knocked down the veteran three times, broke his face, and ended the fight with a broken nose. As a result, all three judges gave the victory to Donchenko — 30:26, 30:26, 30:27.

Recall that Daniil Donchenko made his UFC debut in September 2025, when he defeated Brazilian Rodrigo Sezinando early at the NOCHE UFC Fight Night 259 tournament.
